FAQ

Can I sell finished amigurumi I made from your patterns?

For my original designs that’s an easy answer: Yes you can! In my opinion, your finished ami is completely yours to do with as you want; it’s a product of your hard work after all.
I would appreciate it very much if you could credit me as the designer of the pattern in the item description or on the price tag. Also, I absolutely love to see what people make from my patterns, so feel free to pass me a link to your amis here or via Rav. :)

For fan-craft patterns of existing game/cartoon/movie/etc characters it’s a bit more complicated. I can’t and won’t forbid you from selling them, but keep in mind that the company holding the copyright/trademark for the character can stop you, since you’re making money off their intellectual property. Some companies are fine with individuals selling handmade crafts of their characters; others aren’t. To avoid disappointment and possible legal actions, I would strongly advise you to do your own research first and decide for yourself whether selling is a good idea or not.

Things that are not okay with me are reprinting or reselling my patterns (i.e. the actual pdf file with instructions and photos).
If you have a blog and would like to share one of my patterns with your audience, please point them to the item in my Ravelry store so they can download it themselves; don’t post the whole pattern on your own website.

I love your plushies but I can’t crochet. Do you take commissions?

Currently not, sorry. I’ve accepted commissions in the past and might do so in the future, but right now I just don’t have the time for it.
